Browsing needs no account

You do not have to sign in or give us personal information to read any page.

If you choose an account, you can sign in with Google or with an email address and password. Supabase provides the account service and handles credentials and session tokens. Google shares basic identity information, such as your email address and profile, when you use Google to authenticate.

A confirmed account syncs your Favorites and named private lists. You choose whether to import Favorites already saved in this browser. There is no public profile, and accounts do not add payments, advertisements, alerts or collaboration.

Some choices stay on this device

Theme and artwork. Your light or dark choice and artwork preference are kept in this browser.

Guest Favorites. Without an account, the products you star are kept in this browser. Clearing its site data can erase them. Favorites already synced to a confirmed account remain there.

Signed-in sessions. This browser keeps local session data so you stay signed in. Supabase handles the credentials and session tokens used for the account.

Private until you share one

Named account lists are private unless you create a sharing link. Anyone holding that link can see only the list title and its products, not the account owner's email address.

You can disable a sharing link or replace it with a new one. Deleting your account removes its saved Favorites and lists and makes its sharing links stop working. Service providers may retain backups and security records under their own retention policies, so deletion is not an instant erasure of every copy everywhere.

No added analytics tracker

[ANALYTICS: none yet.] We have not added a tracker that counts visitors, follows them from page to page, or reports what they looked at.

The companies that host the site and provide account access still process the technical requests needed to deliver those services and keep service and security logs. Their records and backups follow their own retention policies.

If an analytics tracker is added, it will say so here and in the change log before it is switched on, naming what is measured and who else can see it.

The typefaces are served locally

The typeface used for headings is served by this site from its own folder. Opening an ordinary page does not fetch that typeface from an outside font service.

It was not always true. Until 6 September 2026 that typeface was fetched from an outside font service each time a page opened, which let that service see the address your browser had asked from. The files were downloaded once, under the open licence the typeface carries, and they have lived on our own machine since.

The one exception never reaches a reader. While the site is being worked on there is a panel for trying other typefaces on, and choosing one in that panel does fetch it from that service. The panel is built into nothing anybody visits, and two of our own checks refuse to pass if that ever stops being true.

What happens when you go to a shop

A buy link takes you to a shop we do not run. Their usual privacy policy applies there. What they collect and what they do with it is theirs to declare, and it is worth reading if it matters to you.

The link may carry a short code that tells the shop we sent you, so a commission can be paid. It does not carry your account identity from this site.
